Deposit Operations Associate Reconciliations

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

* Reconciliation of Departmental accounts including ATMs, Cash Items, Fraud, Adjustments, etc.

* Obtain a base understanding of all products and services represented in the reconciliations.

* Review of Balancing Report to clear exception Items

* Review of outstanding items in GLs reconciled by accounting to clear exceptions such as

correspondent bank accounts and other general ledger suspense accounts.

* Maintain and update policies and procedures for each GL reconciled

* Follow up on any discrepancies with product owners to ensure resolution in a timely manner.

* Assist management in account research as needed

* Complete other duties as assigned.

BENEFICIAL SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* This position requires prior similar work experience.

* Experience in the accounting, operations, or accounts payable area of a financial institution is a very useful skill as well.

* Computer skills with windows-based office programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel are also required.

* The position requires a detail-oriented person who is very organized and dependable.

* This position also requires a flexible and professional demeanor.

WORK CONDITIONS

* The working conditions are almost exclusively inside with very limited travel.
