Engineering Intern- Machining

Parker has an opportunity for an Engineering student seeking Summer Internship at its Hydraulic Pump and Power Systems Division in Marysville, Ohio. This student will be working with our Sr. Process Engineer on CNC Machine related things such as programming and tooling.

*Partner with Operators and Engineering to work to improve the reliability of current and new tooling.
*Create, check, and verify machine tool lists.
*Manage the creation of centralized tooling ordering and create machine specific loading instructions.
*Troubleshoot machine programming issues.
*Other duties as assigned.

*Currently pursuing a Bachelors of Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Minimum Sophomore classification required.
*Able to read mechanical drawings and have knowledge of fundamental Engineering principles
*Data manipulation (Excel, Access), basic machining process and programming knowledge (CNC, G Code, NC programming)
*Experience using Engineering CAD programs like Inventor, AutoCAD as well as data analysis software
*Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
*Work with minimal supervision and instructions regarding the scope of assignments, determine priority and order of assignments.
