Experience as a revenue cycle leader for an integrated healthcare delivery system preferred. The functional areas of responsibility include 12 Acute Facilities, Home Health, Hospice, Home Infusion, 280+ physician practices with oversite of 500 FTEs. Facility (Acute ad Post-Acute) and Medical Groups Customer Service Call Center Cash Management Document Capture and Indexing Insurance Billing and Collections Credit Balance Resolution Patient Balance Collections Bad Debt Management and 501r Compliance Financial Assistance Program Medical Groups Payer Credentialing #LI-AR1 Job Summary This position is responsible for planning, policy, and implementation of all functions relating to the financial goals of patient accounting and collections including insurance billing, insurance follow-up, patient collection, customer service, managed care underpayment, recoveries, correspondence, scanning of documents, management of credit balances, administration of the Sentara charity and indigent assistance program, account receivable reporting and cash posting. Has overall responsibility for all patient access activities for hospital-based patient care areas as assigned.Master's level degree preferred. Certified Public Accountant preferred.
