Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall strategic product lifecycle management of Digital Pathology Scanners (DP200/600) and Image Management Software (IMS) within the Pathology Lab business portfolio. Duties are varied and complex, often involving research, analysis and solution development.

  • Directs, uses and translates market research and customer insight to shape product/portfolio strategies. Responsible for influencing global LCT on the market requirements for their area of responsibility.

  • Develops and executes comprehensive strategies for assigned product portfolio that include product requirements, pricing strategy, launch and on-market commercialization logistics to accomplish business objectives.

  • Driving or participation in the process for the business area annual operating plan; development and implementation of tactics; evaluation of tactics performance with metrics through business reviews; and effective utilization and communication with internal partners and/or external agencies.

  • Serves as the technical expert for their specific area of responsibility. Responsible for internal processes that drive product launches, on-market product care, updates, and expirations while serving as strategic lead on product availability related questions from the field.

  • In conjunction with the demand planning and commercial sales teams, is responsible for gathering input and data to create product forecasts and business plans that drive growth for assigned products.

  • To the internal business partners/stakeholders, serves as the business owner/key point of contact for all questions/matters pertaining to their portfolio. Advises and manages stakeholders by reporting on prioritized business objectives, business challenges and opportunities to senior management.

  • Effectively work within a cross functional team to inspire and influence above authority.

  • Develops business area mastery within areas of assigned responsibility to include in depth understanding of market segments, business model, analysis of key metrics that define success, forecasting sales and product demand, share performance, trends, competition, customer critical success factors and needs through interaction with customers for integration with programs.

  • Requires a portfolio champion mindset and the regular use of originality and ingenuity. Is the subject matter expert for utility and use of assigned products in the market.

  • Does not supervise but provides direction and drives accountability among cross-functional teams on projects and assignments. Works with minimum supervision.

  • Manages resources and budget to target for all assigned programs with proactive communication on issues and opportunities to management and other stakeholders.

Who You Are:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree

  • You hold 5 years of marketing, business, sales or healthcare business experience

  • Ability to travel as dictated by business need

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Commercial experience within healthcare, diagnostics or pharmaceuticals

Required Competencies:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the following core competencies: Agility, Business & financial acumen, Communication, Customer engagement, Customer insights, Stakeholder influence, and Technical aptitude.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Strategic Product Lifecycle Management

Location:

  • This position is based onsite in our Indianapolis campus.

  • No relocation benefits are provided for this role

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $97,800 - $181,600. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
