This position will provide valuable experience in IT Infrastructure and Operations environments and provide the opportunity to become exposed to and develop knowledge and skills associated with IT retail systems. Each day will bring a different set of responsibility based upon the needs of the business and will contribute in the full life-cycle support of our processes, data center support and network configuration. Job Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for assisting, coordinating, and supporting the development of a wide array of infrastructure solutions for IT initiatives. This includes but is not limited to build, maintain, support technical infrastructure to achieve desired performance, reliability, and customer experience. To do this successfully, this position will support the team with various processes to configure end-user devices and maintain the associated underlying infrastructure and accurately track, configure, deploy and maintain end-user devices such as tablets, cell phones, PCs/Laptops, ELO's and other devices. Evaluate and prioritizing incoming tickets, calls, and issues to provide technical support and guidance to users. Create documentation as needed for any new or changed project or technology and participate in testing of new technologies or processes and provide feedback. Participate in infrastructure team activities such as stand-up meetings, testing, etc. Required Qualifications - education, knowledge, skills and abilities: Interns should have a passion for learning and not be afraid to ask questions. Must have the desire and ability to work both independently and in a cooperative team environment as well as cross-functionally. The intern must exhibit high level of customer service, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, working face-to-face, remote, and on-site with other areas of the business. Preferred Qualifications - additional skills Experience or understanding of project planning tools (Asana, Jira, Daptiv), MS365, Manage Engine, Sharepoint, Okta, Citrix, Active Directory and other cloud-based solutions. Good verbal and written communication skills, and good organizational skills. Overall knowledge and interest in Information Technology. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently.
