SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a Learning Operations Lead to join our Organizational Development and Learning Technology team. This full time role will work days (primarily remote).

Purpose of this position: The Learning Operations Lead is responsible for the coordination of educational activities including org wide strategic priorities, regulatory, quality and other education needs within learning and development. This role leads the lifecycle of educational experiences including intake and prioritization, design, development, and execution of learning experiences. The Lead is responsible for overall reporting of metrics, measures, and evaluation for both skill building and development programs across the organization. Serves as the technology lead for team members and consults with customers on technology support for learning experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations



  • Partners with manager to prioritize and align work to strategic priorities, mission, vision, values and org-wide behavioral expectations
  • Oversees the intake process and streamlines the intake and prioritization of projects; allocates projects to team members while tracking and reporting status of projects
  • Analyzes data and reports out on KPI's and metrics in conjunction with People & Culture partners
  • Ensures courses have evaluation metrics and includes reinforcement/sustainability of content to ensure adoption
  • Audits current learning and development education across the organization to help with dashboarding of metrics, standardization, and best practices
  • Develops standard processes and templates to support education development and rollout using best practices in partnership with manager
  • Responsible for analyzing and translating LMS and other data to show the ROI of learning and development experiences. Develops dashboards and other communication modalities to communicate effectiveness to the organization and leaders
  • Designs communication and change plans for education (including ART) in partnership with the customer, manager and Communications team
  • Stays current on best practices and emerging technologies in educational technology
  • Monitors and evaluates training programs, processes and workflows for quality and effectiveness; make recommendations for improvement


Technology, LMS & Instructional Design



  • Provides strategic vision, direction, implementation, and oversight for the LMS
  • Partners with IS&T to manage technical solutions within the LMS such as SSO, SMTP, Zoom, Teams, etc
  • Creates and consults on best practices for hybrid and virtual learning using Zoom and Teams, and leads the production of hybrid and virtual
  • Partners with manager on budget and contract negotiations for the LMS leading
  • Provides technical leadership for LMS administration with team members
  • Partners with People & Culture partners to proactively interpret learning analytics and data to better inform processes around content, course, and program creation
  • Partners with team members to assist in responding efficiently and effectively to regulatory requests, provides administrative support for online programs and support for instructors and learners, troubleshoots LMS issues, and collaborates in designing the LMS user interface and user experience
  • Designs relevant, meaningful eLearning instructional content in a variety of formats including print, graphics, audio, video, animation and multimedia to support internal learning

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in educational technology, instructional design and/or related field preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in learning technology

  • An approved equivalent combination of education and experience.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 1-2 years of experience in serving as the lead of learning professionals
  • Healthcare experience
  • Master's degree in educational technology, instructional design or related field
  • Experience in roles with responsibility in instructional design or media enhanced, interactive learning design/development, with client-facing responsibility and team leadership
  • Demonstrated abilities in video production, shooting, and editing
  • Project management experience


Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:



  • Significant knowledge of and experience with current learning management systems and eLearning authoring tools (preferably Adobe Creative Cloud apps, Articulate and the ability to edit our legacy Captivate courses)
  • Knowledge of current issues and best practices for online learning in general, and (preferably) in healthcare education
  • Experience in designing and developing instructor-led, web-based, blended, and digital media instruction
  • Experience in collaborating with educators and stakeholders in design, development, and implementation of instructional content, courses and projects
  • Interest in and willingness to learn video production, shooting, and editing
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technology including learning management systems, eLearning authoring tools, reporting, etc
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate learning objectives, outcomes, and competencies that are practical, focused, concise, and measurable
  • Experience with responding to compliance and regulatory requests in healthcare
  • Experience in analyzing data and reporting out on KPI's and metrics, including effective evaluation of content
  • Understanding and knowledge of content standards for LMS integration (SCORM, AICC)
  • Technical aptitude and willing to be proactive with solutions and problem solve technical or learning issues
  • Demonstrated organizational skills in handling, directing, and prioritizing multiple and complex assignments/projects
