HealthPartners is currently hiring for a Manager, Marketing & Sales Systems. The manager is responsible for overseeing technology and tech-related processes that support Marketing and Sales in acquiring and retaining business. This includes leading business analysis and quality assurance activities. The role involves providing leadership in identifying technology needs, improving business processes, selecting, developing, and implementing systems, and ensuring ongoing operations. Additionally, the manager participates in defining and developing strategic technology initiatives for Marketing and Sales.

Required Qualifications:



  • Five (5) years of software development team management experience.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle best practices, particularly in business analysis and quality assurance.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills; ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively lead discussions on both technical and business issues.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Five (5) years of experience in health insurance environment with a solid understanding of the health insurance new sale and renewal processes is strongly preferred.
  • Line-of-business application management experience.
  • Project management experience.


Hours/Location:



  • M-F; Days
  • May operate in a hybrid capacity and will prioritize local candidates for occasional and sometimes immediate on-site requirements.


Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for the supervision of staff, including having the authority to hire, transfer, lay off, promote, discipline and discharge, train, reward, and review performance of employees. Ensure compliance to organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and activities of a Marketing and Sales Systems business analyst team. Providing work direction to approximately six-to-eight (6-8) full-time staff and contractors/consultants working on team projects.
  • Oversee existing applications, systems, and processes. This includes identification, prioritization, and scheduling of new projects, system enhancements, routine operations, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their technology needs and gain alignment on potential solutions and timelines. This includes providing background information and relevant analysis to help inform stakeholder decision making.
  • Create, manage, and communicate project plan for team's operational processes and development activities.
  • Manage vendor relations to ensure successful delivery of contracted software and services.
  • Actively participate in the creation, updating, and ongoing testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
