Cook

Job Summary:

Prepares all foods for patient and non-patient functions and meals assigned,

Works various shifts under the direction of the First Cook,

Follows daily production sheets routinely and records overages and underage after each meal service,

Practices high levels of sanitation as instituted by department,

Maintains high standards in personal hygiene and safety,

Prepares main entrees for breakfast, lunch and dinner according to standardized recipes in forecasted amounts prior to start of room service, making sure that appearance, taste, and temperature are at acceptable levels,

Required:

One to three years of institutional or restaurant cooking,

Preferred:

ServSafe Certified,

Experience in cooking for high volume healthcare facilities,

Scheduling Requirements:

5:30 am - 2 pm - 6 am - 2:30 pm 11 am - 7:30 pm

Weekends and Holiday rotation
