This support includes financial analysis, budgeting, planning, and forecasting, monitoring, controlling, and accounting; operational performance reporting and analysis; and strategic planning and analysis. These services are critical to achieving the company's strategic, operational, and financial objectives. The Business Finance department provides a unique environment for energized and talented finance professionals to engage in the business as valued functional advisors, make meaningful contributions to the direction of a dynamic business, and be actively developed and recognized. Position Summary The Expert Business Analyst will support Engineering, Planning & Strategy business partners, as well as the Business Finance Extended Leadership team to define and achieve the team's strategic objectives, provide support to help drive financial decision-making, planning and other finance needs. You will integrate with the business organization to influence and drive cross team collaboration.You must be a clear and concise communicator with written communication skills, strong analytical and quantitative skills, a background in finance or accounting, poise in working with many levels of staff, strong organizational and planning skills, initiative and enthusiasm, and strong people skills. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and in-person in the Oakland office based on business needs. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of thejob posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, geographic location, and internal equity.This job is also eligible to participate inPG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
