Your Role With Us:The Manager, CMS 5 Star & Patient Experience is responsible for functions including, yet not limited to: CMS 5-Star Quality Ratings Management: Oversee the strategy to improve and maintain high CMS 5-Star Quality ratings.Analyze and interpret changes in CMS quality measures, CAHPS (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems), and other relevant metrics.Partner with operational leaders to develop and implement processes aimed at improving specific areas of care including patient safety, clinical outcomes, and care coordination.Partner with Clinical Decision Support and Quality teams to track internal performance against CMS benchmarks, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for strategy initiatives.Foster a culture of patient-centered care by promoting teamwork and accountability.Lead cross-functional teams to support the implementation of quality improvement projects focused on enhancing the patient experience and increasing CMS ratings.Serve as a subject matter expert on CMS quality measures, patient experience initiatives, and performance improvement strategies. Patient Experience and Satisfaction:Partner with the Patient Experience Analyst to develop a deep understanding of patient experience surveys, survey methodology, and internal data reports.Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to identify and implement best practices for enhancing patient engagement, communication, and overall satisfaction experience across all touchpoints within the healthcare system. Data Analysis and Reporting:Provide regular reports to senior leadership, detailing performance trends, improvement initiatives, and results.Use data to identify gaps in service delivery, develop action plans, and track progress over time.Design and maintain visibility systems throughout the organization to promote understanding, awareness, and use of quality data related to 5 Star performance to achieve desired improvement targets. Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare quality improvement, patient experience, or a related role, with a strong understanding of CMS 5-Star Quality Programs required.Minimum of three years of leadership experience, including training and mentoring staff, preferred.Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, development, and successful execution of quality improvement strategies.Knowledge of industry best practices for patient experience.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and with all levels within the organization.Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Certification in healthcare quality (e.g., CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) preferred.Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and quality measurement tools preferred. Working conditions:Full-time position, office-based with occasional travel to healthcare facilities.Flexible work environment, including remote work options (if applicable).Occasional evening and weekend hours as needed for project deadlines or special initiatives.
