Recruitment: The State Highway Administration District 2 is currently recruiting for a Shop Administrative Technician III position located in Queen Anne's County. This position is open to anyone who meets the minimum qualifications listed below. This job announcement may be used for future vacancies throughout SHA.

Nature of Work: This position provides inventory and storekeeping duties for a maintenance facility. These duties include assisting with the responsibilities for the procurement, proper receipt, storage, inventory and issuance of supplies, equipment and materials. In addition, this position will provide administrative support to the office staff based on manpower or workload demands.

Special Requirements:
* This is an essential position, and employee must be available for 24-hour hour emergency call up with response time of less than one hour.
* Employee will be required to maintain a reliable communication for the purpose of emergency call back requirement.
* The probationary period will be six months with extension probability to one year due to the seasonal nature of job duties.
