Hyundai Motor Group North American Quality Center. (NAQC) is currently looking for an Sr, Manage, Strategy and Analysis at our Chino/Irvine, CA facility who will: Lead a team of IT and Data professionals to design, develop, and maintain the next generation of tools aimed at detecting, escalating and managing quality investigations as well as the strategy to achieve internal and external goals and KPI's. Responsibilities:
- Understand Division's plan and work with the team to implement & achieve KPI
- Attend and engage in N.A. affiliates' meetings to represent NAQC
- Prepare and deliver frequent reports to upper- and executive-level management
- Lead and manage a team of program analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive exceptional performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and affiliates (HMNA, KMNA, HAC, KCA, HATCI, HMC, HMMA, KaGA, KMX, NASO, KASO, and suppliers)
- Work with outsourcing companies to set up (contract), monitor progress (arising issues, invoice, etc.), & track results.
- Conduct regular reviews of program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to optimize project outcomes
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular updates on program status, milestones, and key deliverables
- Manage budget, resource allocation, and forecasting activities, ensuring efficient utilization of resource

- Manage to improve the capabilities of our engineers
- Develop sales/syndicated study forecasts for the Hyundai/Genesis brand. This will allow for better IQS, VDS, and CR forecasts.
- Create product quality dealer KPIs for Hyundai/Genesis dealers for targeting and segmentation.
- Analyze and discover insights from Hyundai/Genesis dealer service experience surveys.
- Create and maintain ad hoc analysis dashboards in PQMSv3.2 for the Hyundai/Genesis brand.
- Develop an analytical process for continually monitoring the Hyundai/Genesis brand's Consumer Reports standing in Reliability, Owner Satisfaction, and Overall rankings.
- Apply deep analytical skills to blend, process, and explore complex datasets for the Product Quality department to aid in knowledge discovery, BI-reporting, and predictive modeling activities.
- Perform and manage root-cause analysis, survival analysis, time series forecasting and other analytical activities.
- Create and own the team's DataMart(s) that drives a suite of Tableau dashboards for data discovery/exploration needs using SQL & Alteryx.
- Author new dashboards and maintain the existing suite of Tableau dashboards for the product quality team.
- Build, maintain, and deliver a broad spectrum of reports to key personnel with a high degree of automation and adaptability in mind (formulaic and parameterized coding style).
- Utilize text mining tools (R, Python, Generative AI) for topic generation, sentiment analysis, and/or otherwise enrich existing datasets with generated features classification tasks.
- Deliver high quality ad-hoc data dumps, metrics, ranked lists, and insights on an as-needed basis in various formats.
- Innovate new ways of problem solving that draw from best practices and innovations from other industries.
- Maintain and transfer knowledge of emerging trends related to analytics, data management, statistical computing/machine learning, business intelligence, data visualization, etc.

Candidates considered will...
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- 12+ years of experience in automotive field investigation, quality assurance, or related technical areas.
- Strong foundational knowledge of overall automotive systems. (PT/EV/CHAS/TRIM/EL/INFO)
- Proven experience in managing technical investigations and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills, with a focus on delivering timely and cost-effective solutions.
- One to two years of experience with Tableau desktop a plus.
- Alteryx, Tableau, or Python Data Science certification preferred, but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to clearly explain deeply technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with experience working across global affiliates and cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Advanced in Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
