Senior Business Analyst - Private Equity/Private Credit

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Solutions team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional accounting and administration servicing for our clients' assigned alternative investment funds. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will serve as a dedicated resource to the alternative investment fund services department to assist with internal and external client solutions/product based support.

What you will do:

  • Lead new business onboarding including estimation, approach/design, systems configuration, reporting, data conversion, and automations.
  • Assess, analyze client customized requests and solutions
  • Conduct and prepare gap analysis, business reason, solution definition for existing platform
  • Support technical sales and present solutions
  • Provide solutions packaging content and competitive positioning
  • Collaborate with product component, technology proficiency, sales, and external vendors in the design, delivery maintenance of the solutions.

What we need from you:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business or applicable experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of accounting platform implementation experience, software, and product development subject areas in the Alternatives industry
  • Financial Services experience in Alternatives, preferably FinTech experience with Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Estate operations, reporting, allocations
  • Experience with alternatives systems implementations: FIS Private Capital Suite (Investran), Geneva is preferred
  • Other Experience with Anaplan, Alteryx, Allvue, eFront, Tableau, Power Platform, and Excel VBA

  • Custom software development and modeling experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and presentation
  • Ability to present Investment Management solutions in a sales environment
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Capacity to work within sophisticated systems and large data sets.
