Full-Time Lecturer Position in Physics Courses in the area of physics are designed to either satisfy Liberal Education requirements for students in any degree or to satisfy program requirements for pre-professional majors in the Agriculture and Natural Resources Department and the Math, Science and Technology Department. Full-time, nine-month, annual-renewable lecturer position in Physics (Class #9754) in the Math, Science and Technology (MST) Department at the Crookston campus of the University of Minnesota starting August 14, 2024. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, and a competitive fringe benefits package is offered. This position will deliver high-quality instruction to undergraduate students in various majors; participate in assessment of activities and pedagogy programs in the Math, Science and Technology Department; advise students; contribute to student recruitment and retention initiatives; and support research and community outreach in physics and/or physics education. Likely course assignments will include a one-semester Introductory Physics course and a one-year algebra based College Physics sequence, and potentially other courses related to the candidate's expertise.
