A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • As a Senior Database Developer specializing in Data Warehouse and Analytics, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
  • You will be responsible for architecting data warehouse solutions, ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and supporting the analytics team in extracting meaningful insights from the data.
  • This position will serve as the technical SME for data and analytics and plays a pivotal role in enabling processes, design and solutions that drive efficiency, reduce the cost of operations, and mitigate operational risk.
  • Additional responsibilities would include development of reports, data loads, data audits, compliance, production support.
  • This role is technical in nature and requires product knowledge as well as hands-on implementation and post-production support experience.
  • This role will work closely with other peer IT team members and Business partners to design and configure solutions to meet Business needs.
  • Working in an agile methodology, provides both development and quality assurance on multiple platforms, applications and middleware integrations such as SQL, Azure, Power BI and custom applications.
  • This position is part of a team working with application subject matter experts to maintain and design system solutions to create successful software adoption and retention of our end users.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technology area of study; preferably in Computer Science, MIS or Analytics.
  • Previous experience as a database developer with 5-8 years of database development, with a focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehouse solutions.
  • Proficiency in designing ETL workflows, including data cleansing, transformation, and data loading strategies.
  • Extensive experience with data dictionaries, data analysis, and relational databases.
  • Proven understanding of SQL optimization (indexing and ability to interpret and act on execution plans).

$98,589.00 - $142,955.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
