About the Role
As a Development Intern, you will provide administrative and technical support to our project development team, working closely with industry experts on key aspects of real estate projects, including financing applications, project due diligence, and coordination with external partners. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in real estate, urban planning, and business operations while making a tangible impact.
What You'll Do
- Assist in preparing funding applications and due diligence reports for investors, lenders, and regulatory agencies.
- Support the development team in coordinating real estate projects from initial concept through lease-up.
- Conduct market research, zoning research, and attend city/neighborhood meetings to help advance projects.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and external consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
- Work on request for proposals (RFPs) and request for qualifications (RFQs) for future development opportunities.
- Maintain project records, track timelines, and assist in data entry tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing a degree in real estate, finance, business, urban planning, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
