You will serve as the portfolio manager for assigned agent and partner relationships with ownership for profitable growth. Accountabilities include agency management, new business development, profit review, and coordination with regional sales leaders driving assigned agents to meet their business plan.
You will report to the Director, Channel Performance.
This is a remote role, however, you will travel to visit clients mostly on the East Coast.

Position Compensation Range:

$97,000.00 - $164,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities


  • Be a portfolio manager for assigned agents and partner relationships with ownership for profitable growth.
  • Accountable for agency management, new business development, profit review, and coordination with regional sales leaders driving assigned agents to meet their business plan.
  • Responsible for the directing distribution strategy in partnership with regional sales teams.
  • Maintain and nurture existing agency relationships to ensure a strong, growing, profitable partnership.
  • Directly support assigned national partnership leaders for reporting, portfolio profit plans, and daily support of regional sales teams.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements


  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Demonstrated experience managing independent agency relationships.
  • Extensive knowledge of P&C industry, including sales, marketing, customer management and underwriting.
  • Extensive knowledge of the agency competitor demographics and economic trends.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of profit and growth measures.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of insurance products.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to navigate an organization and leverage relationships to achieve results; demonstrate resiliency.

Additional skills:


  • 5 to 10 years experience in Commercial Lines Insurance.

  • Up to 15%.
