Information Technology Project Manager


Oostburg, Wisconsin (On-site)

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves acquiring resources, coordinating team efforts, and managing third-party contractors or consultants to achieve project objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining project goals, maintaining quality control, and ensuring alignment with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Perform miscellaneous projects as assigned by the IT Infrastructure Manager, Enterprise Systems Manager, Information Security Manager, Director of Application Development, Vice President of Information Technology, Chief Financial Officer, and/or the President & CEO.


Qualifications & Skills:




  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or equivalent project management experience. PMP certification preferred.



  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Project Management experience, preferably in the IT sector.


  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
