Overview
The Senior Platform Analyst exercises independent judgment and discretion in managing platform deliverables and contributing to the strategic vision of the bank's Salesforce Platform. Leveraging previous experience in Salesforce.com administration, they actively participate in implementation and upgrades, covering design, development, QA, data conversion/migration, installation, integration, and documentation. They collaborate with End Users, Developers, Project Managers, and Business Owners, as well as internal and external technical resources, functional Business Analysts, and Project Managers to design and implement systems aligned with the bank's Salesforce Platform objectives. Additionally, the role involves partnering with the Salesforce Product Owner to define, prioritize, and execute the roadmap for the nCino Commercial Loan Origination system. to user-friendly details and requirements. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee and orchestrate the design of business and Bank Operations improvements directly impacting operational processes, procedures, and policies.
Collaborate with the Salesforce Product Owner and key business areas to ensure integration of business requirements and client needs into nCino/Salesforce. Work with key business stakeholders to ensure successful product roll-outs and releases; help develop, maintain, and prioritize Salesforce product backlog. Stay updated on emerging technology trends for nCino and Salesforce. Monitor and enhance third-party integration points to nCino and Salesforce. Ensure successful delivery of complex technical projects. Collaborate with partners to understand and resolve business problems, escalating as necessary to meet timelines; clarify and define business needs, requirements, and use cases. Communicate effective utilization and implementation of the nCino Commercial Loan System to meet business requirements, leveraging standard and custom functionalities. Administer Salesforce environment, customize and implement profiles, roles, security settings, sharing rules, applications, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow, validation rules, dashboards, and reports. Configure dashboards, analyze data, and make actionable decisions to impact and improve business operations. Administer and conduct design sessions to configure and enhance the end-to-end credit platform aligned with the Bank's objectives across the Credit Value Chain / Life-cycle. Develop and apply knowledge of system dependencies and business processes. Act as escalation point and subject matter expert (SME) for Salesforce platform and associated integrations (e.g., nCino, Marketing Cloud, Einstein, Cisco, Outlook); collaborate with the business to resolve issues. Support change management (release) process by developing and implementing new applications and updating existing applications. Develop logical strategies and targeted solutions for ambiguous business problems. Design and analyze to inform and drive decisions. Execute large-scale customer data improvement projects. Manage third-party applications integrating into SFDC. Proactively make recommendations to support business objectives. Provide analysis on current business processes, changes, suggest improvements, and participate in the solution design and implementation of new functionality. Implement new features within applications to improve business operations. Manage backlog prioritization for IT and developers' goals. Create and maintain training materials; conduct training sessions as needed for the Salesforce Platform. Create and maintain Salesforce.com reports and dashboards. Create and execute testing plans, procedures, and system testing. Utilize data loader and other tools to make changes to data.Work with team members and business users to resolve ticket requests and provide user support.Log, troubleshoot, and track system problems through resolution. Manage Salesforce Campaigns and optimize results in collaboration with the business. Implement and troubleshoot third-party integrations with partner applications. Collaborate with development teams to add new features beneficial to business operations. Build relationships and collaborate closely with project and business partners at all levels across the bank, including Technology, Operations, and Risk, to ensure successful project delivery. Proactively identify and remediate risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as necessary. Work with leadership and departmental stakeholders to explore technologies, software, tools, and approaches to improve operational efficiencies, enhance customer experience, and increase profitability. Contribute to development work to ensure alignment with the original scope of work. Enhance documentation, including user interface guides, training materials, and functional-specific documents. Validate test cases and results against requirements. Assess the scope, impact, outcomes, and results of projects, new functionality, and processes. Stay updated on technology advances and Salesforce features to maintain a future state roadmap addressing business advancement needs. Evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and translate high-level, complex, or technical information into user-friendly details and requirements.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of Business Analysis experience, Financial Services experience preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in Information Services or related field.
- Experience working with multiple software applications and architectures, experience with Salesforce and nCino and banking recordkeeping platforms required.
- Experience working with Salesforce implementations is a required.
- Experience in Commercial Lending is required (preferably the loan origination process).
- Experience with the nCino loan origination system is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, nCino, DocuSign, Conga, Marketing Cloud and Einstein.
- Experience working in a shared service environment where business area colleagues are your clients.
- Very strong adherence to enterprise development guidelines inclusive of agile and scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with the following financial services applications is a plus: Fiserv Premier, Fiserv WebDirector, MuleSoft, and EllieMae Encompass are also a plus.Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, integrating, and supporting software solutions.
- Working knowledge of 3rd party integrations and AppExchange packages.
- Proficient with Data Loader, Force.com IDE and/or other relevant administration tools.
- Experienced in working consultatively and collaboratively as a thought partner.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in clear and simple way that anyone can understand.
- General knowledge of Web applications and Internet architecture.
- Familiarity with the following financial services applications is a plus:
- Fiserv Signature
- Mulesoft
Certifications:
- Salesforce certifications are a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Business or related field.
