Position Summary: Cognizant is recruiting an Associate Director level HR Bid and Transition partner, who will lead and manage the people solution in the bid phase, and people transition, in the increasing number of customer opportunities within the Americas region. This role will serve as part of our global people focused organization strategically aligned to support sales and increased revenue utilizing customizable Human Resource people solutions. This position focuses on creating a comprehensive HR strategy and solution that directly aligns and supports the Cognizant strategy for new Americas based business opportunities, driving a higher employee acceptance & retention rate while adhering to each client's business objectives and considering the employee engagement experience. Functional Responsibilities: * Manage the RFI/RFP responses for large/complex opportunities within the Americas region * Bid response design and people solution development with business teams * Develop innovative end-to-end people solution design that enables Cognizant to achieve the company's business goals and objectives * Advisory role to strategic engagements on employment matters and provide counseling, coaching, and problem solving to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws * Establish strong customer engagement and lead all client facing interactions (oral presentations, due diligence, solution design, town halls, day one, offer letter, client status reporting and meetings) * Lead due diligence and identification of people implications, risk analysis on costs and liabilities, legal contractual negotiation of HR schedules * Participate and contribute to all strategic planning including opportunity evaluation, competitive analysis and story board workshops * Negotiate legally defensible transfer provisions * Create HR/People related financial impact analysis based on headcount solution and negotiated transfer provisions * Establish professional relationships with internal partners, including working closely with compensation and benefits, country-wise HR teams and Training Academy building virtual teams to deliver solutions as appropriate * Maintain overall ownership for people integrations across the Americas with strong global relationships for opportunities that extend beyond * Partner with Integration Lead for all communication plans and change management * Development of appropriate project plans and management/oversight to ensure deliverables are met * Lead the development of deal repeatable tools and processes (i.e. training, playbooks, identify new employee engagement transition approach, etc.) Qualifications: * Minimum 5 years Rebadge Outsourcing experience or applicable HR transition experience * Minimum 10 years HR experience * B.A or B.S Degree required; Master's degree in Human Resources preferred Required Skills: * Proven ability to work in a deadline driven environment and handle multiple projects and aggressive timelines simultaneously * Experience leading or participating in outsourcing deals resulting in people impact with working knowledge of the deal principals and landscape * An understanding of employment law and negotiation skills a plus * Extensive experience of employee engagement, HR transformation and implementation * Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with and present to all levels including executives * Successful team player who builds and maintains solid relationships with both client and internal teams, creating a collaborative work environment. * Must be able to manage and protect highly confidential information * Must be able to prioritize workload and adapt to changing demands * Ability to turn strategy into workable/deliverable plans * Strong analytical skills * Strong project management and coordination skills * Computer skills: MS Office Suite, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint Applications will be accepted until March 28, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $125,000 - $160,000,depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
