The Network Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the data, security networks. This includes local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and SDN/SDWAN, Cloud Network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Build Networks: Plan, Develop and implement network architectures, including LANs, WANs, WLANs, Network Security and SDN/SDWAN and Cloud Network. HLD/LLD Documents.
  • Evaluate Business Requirements: Tailor network solutions to meet the specific needs of the organization.
  • Implementation: Implementation, Refresh, Migration of network.
  • Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Network Security: Ensure network security through proper design and configuration, Implement firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures
  • Monitor Network Performance: Analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex network issues to maintain network efficiency, performance
  • Coordinate with Vendors: Assist in BOM, Procure networking equipment and software.
  • Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed records of networks and network equipment, documentation of network configurations, designs, and changes
  • Recommend Upgrades: Suggest improvements to ensure network capacity meets increasing demands.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer guidance to network administrators and IT staff.
  • Research & Development: Stay updated on the latest network technologies and advancements to optimize network performance, and recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Work with IT and management teams to establish network requirements and ensure the network meets business goals

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience as a Network Architect.
  • Certifications: CCNP, CCIE
  • Skills: Proficiency in Network architectures understanding of network protocols and security requirements, and the ability to design and implement reliable network infrastructure12.
