Business Reporting Analyst - Senior
Job description
Title: Business Reporting Analyst Duration: Long term Contract Locations: Charlotte, NC Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technology delivery team members, project managers, and cross-functional team members, and stakeholders to deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
- Establish recurring communication and operating routines necessary to progress key initiatives, deliver against defined objectives, and report status/progress and other critical information
- Identify data sources to capture progress against defined team KPIs; gather, review and analyze data on a recurring basis to identify trends, opportunities for improvement and inefficiencies
- Report progress against KPIs related to team goals and objectives and to develop actionable insights for business solutions and process improvement
- Develop and maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations
- Document current business process and identify opportunities for improvement/efficiency
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
- Support the implementation of new systems or processes, including documentation, testing and validation.
- Build out tracking and reporting tools to drive team operating efficiency
- Help develop and maintain team SharePoint and other information-sharing and collaboration resources, including maintaining document archives for ongoing reference/audit trail
- Gather and organize plan detail and evidence associated with issue remediation planning and execution
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Financial Services and Technology experience desired
- Advanced Excel skills required (Advanced formulas Building and applying advanced formulas (e.g. SUMPRODUCT, INDIRECT, INDEX MATCH), Advanced Data Analysis and Visualization, PivotTables, Macros
- Advanced PPT skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail/accuracy
- Proactive, persistent, self-starter who does well with occasional a
- Business process mapping and procedural documentation experience
- Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data
- Experience with audit and compliance activities
