- Role Title: Tech Lead
- Tentative Role Start Date and End Date: 3/10/2025 - 10/10/2025 (7 months) with potential to extend
- Must have Skills: Angular, Node.js, C#, SQL
- Nice to have skills: Prior working knowledge of Boomi and/or TIBCO.
- Roles and responsibilities: Leads engineering strategy, coaches team members, and is accountable for performance, quality, and delivery.
- Travel Expectations: 1-2 times travel to client location (Baltimore, Chicago, or Philly) for PI planning.
Responsibilities: Discovery
- Participates and contributes to rapid alignment workshops and discovery sessions
- Provides technical inputs to the preparation and prioritization of backlog items
- Determines technical and other non-functional requirements
- Collaborates with Solution Architect(s) on the tools, technologies, and standards to be leveraged
- Aligns on high-level technical approach with Solution Architect(s) and delivery team

Roadmap
- Collaborates with design, product, and functional team members and translates the business requirements into a technical solution
- Determines and communicates major elements, systems/sub-systems, and dependencies in the technical solution
- Defines interfaces and integration approach
- Factors in non-functional requirements (such as performance) to the technical solution
Sprints
- Estimates level of effort (LOE) for technical deliverables
- Collaborates with Solution Architect(s) to review/validate the technical architecture/design
- Coordinates with engineering team and provide overall technical leadership and coaching
- Identifies and clears roadblocks for engineering team by collaborating with other delivery teams and Technical Architects within their area of expertise (e.g. TIBCO, Azure API, iOS, etc.)
- Contributes to software engineering, depending on the size of the team
- Audits technical artifacts and code and ensures adherence to EU Team Digital Web development Standards (e.g. including code reviews and unit testing)
- Creates and approves pull request as part of the engineering lifecycle
- Supports defect triaging and resolution efforts during the SIT and UAT phase(s)
- Coordinates with Solution Architect for consultation, quality checkpoints and/or to make improvements on standards and technical practices
- Accountable for the quality and delivery of engineering team
- Coordinates with engineering team and provides technical advisement
- Consults with engineering team to clear any roadblocks for delivery team
- Conducts code reviews and ensures that feedback is incorporated
- Supports defect triaging and resolution efforts during the SIT and UAT phase(s)
Releases
- Reviews and updates technical aspects in the deployment plan
- Coordinates with delivery leads and release management team to plan, prepare and execute production release(s)
- Supports testing and triage efforts in preparation for release
