AMD together we advance_ THE ROLE: The Chief Engineer is pivotal in the EPYC product line's portfolio, requiring deep technical expertise and operational strength, to work across all of engineering and business functions to deliver EPYC products and meeting objectives related to performance, features, schedule, cost, and budget. You will influence many engineers across AMD and have dotted line oversight over program leads without managerial responsibility. You will drive initiatives with high visibility and own decisions made with the collaboration of other subject matter experts. The role has a clear career progression to Senior Director, VP, and CVP positions. THE PERSON: You have relevant working experience in new product development from a design, platform, product and/or program management discipline. You also have experience both as a technical lead as well as a Program Manager of complex CPUs or GPUs, while also possessing a strong understanding of the general silicon engineering process (preferably CPU or APU), from concept to tape-out to production. Lasty, you have experience with driving a multi-site and multi-disciplined engineering program. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
