Job Title: INF-Y Lineman/Linewoman 16495 What You'll Do
Inspects, tests, repairs, services, fabricates, alters, and installs a wide variety of electrical power, electronic, and instrumental equipment, including controlling devices and wiring systems; precision mechanical, electro-mechanical, computers, telephone equipment, radio networks, facsimile systems failures, determines necessary corrective action and completes restoration to service. Operates machine tools and complex test equipment as necessary. Must be able to work at heights, pole climbing or bucket truck work, and work in confined spaces, underground man-holes, underground tunnels. Physical exertion to climb and crawl could be daily. Bending and twisting, lifting and hauling could be daily activities. Must work as ateam member. What You Can Expect

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required. Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP).
