• Valkyrie Enterprises has a need for a Systems Engineers (Integration) Level I in Norfolk, VA.

• Performs a variety of complex project tasks applied to specialized technology problems.

• Tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems or technology problems.
• Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of work flow, organization, and planning.
• Directs and assists system engineers in the application of system engineering principles to the solution of secure systems design problems.
• Expert knowledge of LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, network protocols, and other security and network operations and monitoring, vulnerability analysis, PKI, data encryption, key management, data warehousing, and data mining capabilities.

• All systems engineers performing on the contract shall be compliant with Cyberspace Workforce Management (DoD Directive (DoDD) 8140.01) (Reference F), and SECNAV M-5239.2 DoN Cyberspace IT and Cyber Security Workforce Management and Qualification (Reference W).
• System Engineering personnel shall possess experience integrating training systems as well as interim training products into a LVC integrated training architecture similar to the NCTE (experience with Navy training systems preferred); integration and software experience with M&S engineering and integration projects involving representations of advanced weapons systems and coalition event integration, architecture, and support in an environment similar to NCTE; experience with cross domain solutions.

• Requires a HS Diploma and 0-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
• Must be able to work under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
• Must be detail oriented with strong analytic and problem-solving skills, Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must have an active secret clearance and the ability to maintain it.

• 10% or less travel.
