We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Global Client Management, Innovation and Emerging Technologies to join our Marketing & Communications team. This hybrid role will be based in New York City, NY and will report to the Global Head of Business Communications. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Responsible for driving communications for our Global Client Management, Technology, Innovation and Digital Assets teams, working alongside Executive Committee member(s).
- Creating and driving a strategic communications agenda, aligned to business goals and objectives.
- Plug into broader communications initiatives across the enterprise and collaborate with other stakeholders across marketing and communications to facilitate the creation, coordination, and communication of multi-channel communications activities.
- Provide communications counsel to Executive Committee member(s), senior leaders and business stakeholders, overseeing narrative development and messaging, and working with colleagues across the BNY enterprise.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business or related field; master's degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in communications, with a strong track record of success in the financial services industry and knowledge of the investment ecosystem.
- Multiple years of industry experience with extensive knowledge of Digital Assets, AI and emerging technologies with proven ability to develop messaging, communications materials and managing issues around these themes.
- Strong executive presence and experience working with and counseling senior leaders.
- People leader with strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Deep understanding of emerging trends within financial services.
- Creative thinker with a passion for driving innovation and excellence in product marketing strategy development and execution.
- Outstanding judgment, proactive problem-solving ability and resourcefulness.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $147,000 and $273,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
