Duties and Responsibilities
|
Essential Functions
|
- Owns and drives the user experience strategy and vision for the SSI product portfolio.
|
- Sets and enforces standards for process and quality of work.
|
- Applies user experience and design principles in the creation of documentation, including, but not limited to: journey maps, concept models, user requirements, personas, user flows, site maps, wireframes, prototypes, and style guides.
|
- Understands target user's needs, motivations, and behaviors as it relates to solutions and projects, and uses that information to enhance the user experience for new and existing solutions.
|
- Works with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Technical Leads to determine scope and priorities for development cycles.
|
- Acts as the primary subject matter expert, both internally and externally, for UX best practices and overall user experience.
|
- Builds strong working relationships, both internally and externally to ensure the user experience is aligned with stakeholder needs.
|
- Acts as a positive role model in all aspects of professional performance.
|
- Observes safety procedures and personnel policies and ensures the same of team members.
|

- Must exhibit strong working knowledge of the use of design tools including, but not limited to, Figma, Adobe, Axure, Balsamiq, UXPin etc.

- Must have exposure and/or knowledge of the following technical skills:
- Design Tools: Figma, Adobe, Axure, Balsamiq, UXPin etc.

- Must be well versed in and passionate about user-centered design methodology including, but not limited to, usability testing, cognitive walkthrough, heuristic evaluation, card sorting, surveys, etc.
|
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership and key clients.
|
- Must be highly analytical with strong organizational skills.
|
- Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills.
|
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks effectively.
|
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize.
|
- Must be able to make independent judgment decisions with little supervision.

- Must be able to see clearly with or without corrective lenses and hear clearly with or without aids.

- Must be able to use hands, fingers and wrists repetitively, using a computer keyboard and other office equipment regularly.

- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods and move around the building and elsewhere occasionally.

- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally.

- Must be able to occasionally travel by automobile or airplane.

Security Roles and Responsibilities
|
- Implement and act in accordance with the organization's information security policies;
- Protect assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference;
- Execute particular security processes or activities;
- Ensure responsibility is assigned to the individual for actions taken; and
- Report security events or potential events or other security risks to the InfoSec department.
