As a Project Appointment Researcher, you will serve as an advanced level scientist for the purposes of acquiring a new research skill/s or technique. The duration of the Project Appointment Researcher appointment willl not exceed one year.
Responsibilities:
- Design and perform laboratory procedures and experiments with supervision.
- Manage and operate laboratory equipment with supervision.
- Participate in meetings with principle investigator and research staff.
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities
Required knowledge: biology, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, documentation, records management, data utilization, complex problem solving, critical thinking, resource management, and writing skills
Preferred Schedule:
Part-time: not to exceed 20 hrs/wk - flexible hours
