Staff Accountant Summary Vaco has partnered with an amazing engineering firm and they have an opening for a Staff Accountant who has exposure to Deltek. This person should also have prior accounting experience and be able to interpret financial reports. Client is offering hybrid work model and healthy benefits. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and distribute financial reports for internal stakeholders. Perform cash applications. Manage A/P and expenses Perform bank reconciliations Process monthly payroll reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist in monthly/quarterly tax filings. Qualifications & Skills: 3-5 years of accounting experience (preferably in a professional services firm). Experience with Deltek is an absolute must Accounting, Business, or Finance Bachelors degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered. Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling experience preferred). Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
