1. Summary of Position:

Ensures the effective management of suppliers through proper Material Supply Management practices (order acknowledge, manage order book, supplier visits, expediting, etc.). Monitors supplier performances verifying relevant KPI's and when needed, involving the appropriate functions for setting recovery actions. Acts as the main point of contact for order book issues and uses this focus to provide improved supplier performance. Provides detail feedback to internal customers (MP&C) on Supply Chain performance. Level 2 expeditor will manage 800 to 1800 purchase order line items that could cover 20+ suppliers.

  1. Qualifications for Position:

A. Education

BA or BS degree preferably in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain competency or two years relevant experience.

B. Experience

  • 1-3 or more years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment with experience in an Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar position.
  • Proven success of working with suppliers.
  • Experience working with multiple locations globally.
  • Proven success in a matrix driven organization.

C. Competencies & Attributes

  • Strong time management skills and respect for deadlines.
  • Ability to work cross functionally.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problems solving and conflict resolution skills.
