Wellness Coordinator

The Wellness Coordinator job promotes wellness by developing, implementing, and coordinating internal and external wellness programs. This role helps to improve health outcomes through methods such as wellness education and support on nutrition, physical activity, stress management, restorative sleep, and social connection. Wellness Coordinator roles may be part of Cone Health?s internal wellness programs and/or external community partnered wellness programs.


Develops, implements, and oversees comprehensive wellness programs that align with the organization's wellness goals and objectives.

Analyzes health and utilization data on current offerings to develop and implement program improvements that best meet the needs of the population.

Determines cost-effectiveness of current and proposed wellness programs to ensure cost optimization in alignment with organizational goals and budget constraints.
Designs and establishes wellness programs that support and equip populations to manage their health and health conditions.

Provides education and resources to patients and community members on wellness topics, including healthy eating, exercise, mindfulness, and stress reduction to promote safety and exercise effectiveness.
Documents and keeps records of interactions with participants to be able to collaborate and reinforce long-term health and wellness goals.
Develops marketing campaigns to promote wellness programs.

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's Degree in related field

EXPERIENCE:
Required: 3 years in coordinating and implementing private, community and/or clinical wellness programs.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Preferred: CHES
