Description MaineHealth Neurosurgery & Spine is seeking a fellowship trained Interventional Physiatrist (MD/DO) for their well-established outpatient multispecialty Spine Center in Scarborough. The ideal candidate enhances our comprehensive model of care with proficiency in diagnosis and management as well as performs interventional procedures for non-surgical spinal conditions. Call taken from home and amounts to approximately six weeks per year. The selected candidate will join 11 physiatrists, 12 surgeons, 2 anesthesiologists, and 3 physical therapists. About the position: * Leading Spine and Neurosurgical Practice in the state of Maine. * Clinical work includes consultations and ongoing management of spine conditions * Interventional spine injections up to 2 days per week, clinic evaluations 3 days per week * Work alongside physiatrists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic spine surgeons, and anesthesiologists. * Built in 2019, the 100,000ft2 medical building has on-site access to EMG, X-ray, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and MRI as well as two fluoro suites. Desired Qualifications & Experience: * MD/DO from an accredited medical school * Fellowship training from an accredited program for interventional pain is a must * Board Certified/Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation * Prior experience with diagnosis and management of a variety of spine and musculoskeletal conditions MaineHealth is a not-for-profit integrated health system whose vision is, "Working together so our communities are the healthiest in America."
