Are you bold thinking? Find your place on our team and help us change the world! Position Summary: SkyWater is seeking an experienced engineer to provide dedicated support to our Fault Detection and Classification program.
Responsibilities:
* Manage projects to setup FDC on newly installed equipment.
* Lead focus teams to review and improve FDC coverage and methods across the facility.
* Own collaboration efforts with FDC vendors, including software upgrade coordination and special feature requests.
* Work with automation team to improve integration of FDC with our in house fab systems.
* This individual must be a self-starter who can approach and de-construct unknown factory related problems.
* Provide immediate response, containment, and management of excursion events.
* Organizing, tracking and presenting Kpi's and other metrics to leadership team to show progress on key projects.
* Identify novel methods to use FDC to reduce risks of excursions.
* An engineer new to our team must have a solid understanding of semiconductor processing flows.
* Maintain and create specs, bkms, and response flow checklists relevant to FDC.
The job also requires performing other duties as assigned. Percentages of time spent on job duties are estimates and may vary for each position.
Required Qualifications:
Education: BS or MS Engineering degree
Requires BS and minimum of 8 years experience; MS degree with 6 years experience; PhD with 3 years experience
Experience and/or Training:
* Experience with Inficon FabGuard FDC setup preferred.
* Experience with computer hardware and networking preferred.
* Experience with MES or database management preferred.
* Knowledge of basic computer applications and reporting skills (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
* Familiar with statistical process control.
* Strong organization and communication skills to manage tasks across processing engineering modules to effectively execute and commit deliverables.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
* Fundamental understanding of semiconductor processing, fab operations, equipment.
* Fundamental understanding of analytic techniques is a plus.
US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship. The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $165,000. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
