About the Role HOT JOB! IMMEDIATE OPENING! Culmen International is seeking a skilled and proactive Commissioning Test and Inspection Lead to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in overseeing the complete lifecycle of radiation portal monitor (RPM) system commissioning and decommissioning projects in the DHS Radiation Portal Monitor Program (RPMP). This is a remote/hybrid role with 60% travel in the domestic U.S. required. Current states traveling to are SC, FL, TX, CA, WA, VA, MS, NJ, and NY. Additional travel to client sites in Bethesda, MD and Alexandria, VA for meetings and training may be required. This position is subject to 75% outdoor working conditions in all elements of weather and land. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work under pressure during critical project phases. This role involves significant collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration, validation, and operation of mechanical and control systems. This includes providing support for surveys of prospective sites and sites under reconstruction as well as support training. What You'll Do in Your New Role
Lead on-site commissioning and decommissioning activities, including inspections, validation, functional testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and control systems.

The projected compensation range for this position is $83,200 - $104,000 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Culmen's total compensation package for employees.
