WAREHOUSE LEAD

Position responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day shipping / receiving for OTC
• Work closely with logistics and internal staff to ensure paperwork is captured and processed
• May assemble value add components without assistance.
• Regularly mentors & trains warehouse associates; and responds to queries
• Regularly provides equipment/ system/ process/ training/building recommendations to improve reliability and/or performance within specialized function. Leads continuous improvement activities.
• Works completely independently without close supervision
• May assist with maintenance of the building
• Performs cycle/inventory counts
• Handles walk in customers/ pick up/ will call without assistance
• Work with Sales and Service teams for optimal performance in all POA categories
• Work with various departments in the commercial operations team to provide excellent customer service to local customers
• Meet Monthly Goals on Operations Scorecard
• Perform other duties as assigned/required.
• Assist warehouse as needed in all facets.
• Others duties assigned by management.
• Provides day-to-day supervision to warehouse staff, delegates work & provides coaching as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 yrs. experience in the service industry and/or Operations role
• Degree or equivalent related experience
• Forklift Certification a plus
• Knowledge of CSD/Sx a plus
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Excellent Communication skills (Written and Verbal)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Must demonstrate effective problem-solving capabilities
• Must demonstrate the ability to work productively with other associates, customers, and vendors
• Strong desire to "do it right the first time"
• 5S/6S a plus
• Proficient with MS Office
