We are currently working with a local company on island who is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join their team. This person would be providing technical expertise in the area of Salesforce development and implementation. This role will be in person and move into a hybrid model in the future. Job Responsibilities * Perform technical analysis, level-of-effort estimation, design, development, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions. * Build customized Salesforce solutions using Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and other technologies that support business requirements. * Provide support across systems and related integrations native to ASB's Salesforce implementation. * Troubleshoot and fix defects for production issues and planned releases. * Research and find opportunities to utilize Salesforce best practices and guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling, and monitoring. * Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum. * Other responsibilities as assigned. Experience Required * Five (5) or more years of work experience in Salesforce development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning component frameworks, triggers, batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs. * Five (5) or more years of work experience in Salesforce point-and-click configuration using workflows, validation rules, sales process setup, roles & profiles, reports, and dashboards. * Five (5) or more years of work experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK, and Streaming APIs. * Five (5) or more years of work experience in building complex, scalable, and high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers. * Must have an analytical mindset and the ability to make quick decisions and take initiative. * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, including management teams. * Must be patient, with the ability to listen and understand customer problems, needs, and issues while challenging requests that are not in the best interests of the platform. * Possess knowledge of systems development lifecycle methodologies. * Prior experience in leading and facilitating meetings. * Demonstrate high proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
