EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required
  • Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Experience

  • 10 years of system implementation experience in an acute care setting, inclusive of at least three years in a supervisory capacity
Preferred
  • Experience

  • Hospital operational experience and experience with Epic products

JOB DUTIES
  • Responsible for the technical resource management of the Ancillary systems for clinical functions.
  • Responsible for the Ancillary team resource assignment, productivity and status reporting for analysts.
  • Responsible for ensuring high quality of system build and compliance with technical architecture.
  • Responsible for overseeing enterprise IT change management and communication process for the Ancillary Systems.
  • Responsible for managing the upgrade resources for the Ancillary applications.
  • Responsible for ensuring high content quality within the Ancillary system training programs at UT Southwestern.
  • Responsible for coordinating collaborative system design efforts with Parkland Health & Hospital System as well as Children's Medical Center Dallas.
  • Responsible for review, development, recommendation, and implementation related to Ancillary program.
  • Recommends changes, reviews progress, and approves proposals for the Ancillary program.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintains confidentiality as appropriate.
  • Oversees budget expenditures and scheduling and oversees supervisors and/or subordinate managers to include establishing priorities.
