Overview
The Data & Reporting Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the on-going reporting needs of both internal and external clients are met. This will include but is not limited to design, build, test and validation of new or existing reports through data research and analysis. The Analyst will develop and maintain both ad-hoc and scheduled reports to support internal business functions and to satisfy client needs. The Analyst will use current client and potential client data to calculate performance and analyze trends. They will help to create internal reporting dashboards and reports using Power BI for use by the account management team and other internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
- Four (4) years of data or analysis experience, to include managing and coordinating processes required. Healthcare or pharmacy experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI Power Query, DAX, M-Language, and SQL preferred.
- Certifications in Power BI or other Power platforms preferred. Successful completion of certification titled "Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI" will be required within six (6) months of hire.
- IBM iSeries or AS/400 Query experience preferred.
- Experience with industry standard files such as, but not limited to, 834s, 835s, and NCPDP preferred.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Must possess a strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, advanced Excel and Access required.
- Ability to work with, manipulate and synthesize large datasets for analysis, performance measuring, key insights and presentation.
- Effectively handle shifting assignment and priorities to meet deadlines.
- Proven examples of displaying the PBD values: Trusted Advisor, Innovative, Excellence, Guardianship, Dedication and Caring.
Essential Accountabilities
Reporting
- Determine reporting solutions for business objectives.
- Understand reporting objectives and gather data requirements.
- Utilize analytic methods and data manipulation skills, in conjunction with business understanding, to perform necessary reports for end users.
- Performance monitoring of groups on a regular basis and as requested by the client.
- Perform analysis and modeling of benefit changes to a plan.
- Participate in the development and creation of client reports.
- Support the members of the management team through unique and ad-hoc reporting, as necessary.
- Develop and maintain data models, as well as analyze and report business, regulatory, contractual, and ad hoc requirements.
File Generation
- Create standard file extracts to support internal and external business needs. To include but not limited to rebates, vendor files, custom and standard client extracts. (internal and external clients)
Quality Assurance
- Perform testing, data validation, and user signoff to ensure reports are pulling the correct data and achieving customer requirements.
- Understand reporting objectives and gather data requirements.
Project Support
- Perform complex tasks including research, data extraction and manipulation.
- Work individually and as a team member on a variety of assignments, including cross functional team projects.
- Assist with RFPs and implementations for current and potential clients to minimize disruption or develop cost saving alternatives.

Hiring Compensation Range: $30 - $36 hourly Compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, location and experience. In addition to base compensation, associates may be eligible for a scorecard incentive, full range of benefits and generous paid time off. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
