THE JOB:

As a Pool Beverage Manager at MGM Grand, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of food and beverage at the pool. This includes ensuring exceptional guest service, managing staff performance, maintaining inventory, and upholding safety and quality standards. You will assist with staff training and contribute to delivering a memorable guest experience while maintaining the brand's reputation for excellence.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Oversee and schedule the various pool food and beverage positions such as cocktail servers, bartenders, and cabana hosts.

• Responsible for monitoring of daily beverage operations, fiscal budgets, guest service standards, and execution of marketing strategies

• Accountable for par levels for supplies, liquor, beer, wine and equipment

• Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, work schedules, rules and regulations for the beverage staff.

• Maintain the highest standards of health, sanitation and cleanliness in all areas of food and beverage at the pool.

• Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available in outlets

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of previous food and beverage experience, strong beverage background preferred

• 1+ year previous supervisory experience

• Understanding of F&B operations, budgeting, P&L statements, labor costs, entertainment expenses, and overall operational costs.
