As a Cocktail Server, you will create unforgettable guest experiences by serving beverages on our gaming floor. Through personalized service and attention to detail, you'll ensure every guest enjoys a WOW moment that lasts beyond their stay. THE STARTING RATE: $8.25 + direct tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Take and serve orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Prepare, garnish, and serve cocktails, delivering top-tier service with every drink. Maintain in-depth knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic options to assist guests with selections. Stay informed about hotel services, local attractions, and activities, providing accurate recommendations to enhance the guest experience. Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignments, including stocking supplies, preparing service stations, and ensuring cleanliness and organization. Handle guest concerns promptly, resolving issues within your authority or escalating to management when necessary. Report any unusual incidents, missing items, or security concerns to the appropriate team.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Strong knowledge of menu beverages, including wine and champagne by the glass, major wine and liquor brands, beer, non-alcoholic options, appropriate glassware, terminology, and garnishes. Highly motivated with an energetic and engaging personality. Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing situations with ease. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, ensuring a positive guest experience. Has a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Has 6 months prior relevant experience, as a cocktail and/or food server in a similar environment (preferred) Is at least 19 years old (required) Is available to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
