About the role:
As an IT Architect, you'll help design the foundation for how our global fintech platforms perform and scale. Your expertise will influence selecting, operating and administering systems and software for our environment that supports vital business processes.

About the team:

FIS Securities Lending Processing Platform is a highly automated accounting and settlement securities lending system for lenders and borrowers.

What you bring:

Knowledge / Experience

Required Experience Level - 6+ years Strong knowledge & hands-on of Web Technologies, Rest Api, Microservices, messaging services such as JMS, IBM MQ and streaming services such as Kafka

  • Knowledge of Angular latest versions is a must
  • Experience building cloud native applications
  • Knowledge of programming languages like C#
  • Strong Knowledge of Design patterns
  • Knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, NoSQL
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts
  • Ability to understand the enhancement requests for existing products
  • Knowledge on any version control tool (GIT, etc).

Technical Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in .Net, Web technologies, Angular, Azure
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in WebApi development, implementation of design patterns & OOPS concepts.

Other:

  • Should possess strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to work and resolve issues independently.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor.
  • Ability to work in flexible working hours if needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Competencies:

  • Self-starter but team mindset - work as part of a global team
  • Customer service and team focus
  • Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision with a strong sense of ownership

Added bonus if you have (Desirable skills):

  • Knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes & Dev Cloud.
  • Knowledge of any Continuous integration/deployment tools.
  • Exposure to any build and release tools such as Jenkins.
  • Awareness of static code analysis tools (sonarcube, checkmarx etc.)
  • Excellent communicator - ability to discuss technical solutions within team and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
  • Attention to detail - track record of authoring high quality documentation
  • Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
  • Must be able to perform under pressure Must learn and maintain knowledge of software components as necessary to support application builds and deployments and maintaining production environments.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $117,620.00 - $197,580.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
