The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Product Experience Consultant to serve our diverse base of global clients. Location: New York, NY

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of user experience strategies to enhance product design.
• Oversee the creation and management of design systems to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Provide expert UX consulting services to improve user interaction and satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain UI design patterns to streamline the design process.
• Utilize Adobe XD to create high-fidelity prototypes and design mockups.
• Drive the product design process from concept to final implementation.
• Ensure all designs are responsive and optimized for various devices.
• Incorporate visual design elements and fundamentals to create aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
• Develop and maintain visual branding guidelines to ensure brand consistency.
• Create innovative and creative designs for websites and apps.
• Implement interaction design principles to enhance user engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet business and user needs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve designs.

Required Skills:

• Possess a strong background in Experience Design POV and UX Consulting.
• Have extensive experience in Design System Management and Creation.
• Be proficient in UI Design Patterns and Adobe XD.
• Demonstrate expertise in Product Design and Responsive Web Design.
• Have a solid understanding of Visual Design Elements and Fundamentals.
• Be skilled in Visual Branding and Creative Design for Websites and Apps.
• Have knowledge of Interaction Design principles.
• Nice to have experience in the Cards and Payments domain.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions.
• Ability to conduct user research and usability testing.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on creating user-centric designs.

The annual salary for this position is between $67,950 - $100,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
