Position Title: Quality Technician
Salary: $41,600-$52,000 Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Quality Technician position at a company in Rockford, IL. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position. Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Prepare test samples. - Characterize raw materials upon receipt. - Characterize in-process products according to control plans - Characterize finished products based on control plans and test reports. - Perform raw material tests upon receipt. - Complete test reports. - Update the SPC. - Maintain the laboratory in collaboration with inspectors. - Locate the necessary laboratory equipment. - Ensure the upkeep of laboratory equipment. - Schedule instrument calibration. - Replace defective instruments in the laboratory. - Conduct a monthly inventory of test items. - Perform product and process audits across various departments. - Validate product compliance with drawings and established quality criteria. - Support inspectors in ensuring product compliance. - Substitute for various roles within the department (Inspectors, Laboratory Technician, etc.). - Perform any other related tasks. david.franz@qpsemployment.com IND999 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
