Payroll Specialist Fairfax, VA (Hybrid) Pay From : $48,000 per year MUST: 2+ years of experience working in Payroll Strong understanding of Accounting principles Experience with government contracts and ADP Experience with WorkforceNow Experience with UnaNet is a plus Knowledge of GAAP, extensive knowledge of FAR highly desired Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel Strong communication skills both written and verbal High attention to detail and very organized Bachelors in accounting or related field DUTIES: The ideal candidate will work closely with our Accounting and Human Resources teams to support the operational accounting needs of the firm Manage the full cycle of in-house Payroll which includes the implementation, maintenance, and review of payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions The ideal candidate will be supporting all internal employees regarding payroll and time sheets Approve timesheets, posting labor in Unanet and importing information in ADP Review Expense reports entered in Unanet and guide employees on the Expense process Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly & year-end payroll tax returns - Federal, State & Unemployment Assist with timely payments on payroll-related taxes to different jurisdictions Setup and maintain employees in ADP workforce Setup projects and new hires in Unanet Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
