ORC is seeking a full-time, non-exemptAccounting Admin/Clerkin Charlotte, NC. Candidate will have the flexibility to work from home but must be able to report to the Charlotte, NC office twice a week.

What you will be doing:

As an Accounting Admin/Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the accounting department. Candidate will be responsible for reviewing and correcting company expense reports, setting up vendors in the accounting system, and entering and paying accounts payable invoices. Candidate will also maintain and pay company invoices, perform heavy data entry, and assist the accounting department with additional administrative tasks as needed. Additionally, the Accounting Admin/Clerk will manage administrative office responsibilities for the corporate office, investigate the source of payments, and help coordinate data entry and payment for trust accounts. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization.

Here are the Minimum Requirements:



  • Minimum of one (1) yearof accounting, administrative, hospitalityor healthcare administration experience OR a Business related degree
  • Minimum of one(1) year of data entry experience
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems
  • English language proficient
  • Valid driver's license required

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in person, via phone and email. Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers due to high amounts of computer usage and typing. Expected to spend long spans of time in front of a computer screen. Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data. Able to make quick decisions, present to staff and clients, have difficult conversations and supervise staff. The employee is required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This role requires the employee to travel regularly to meet with clients or vendors which involves time driving; sometimes for long durations. While meeting with clients and vendors, will need to be outdoors traversing different types of landscapes. May be exposed to the elements (heat, rain, snow, cold).
