What you'll do:

As a member of the Eye Trends team, you will work in a modern, dynamic clinic equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and a variety of visual and medical conditions. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient examinations, recommending vision-enhancing solutions, and educating patients about their ocular health. As an Optometrist, you are expected to conduct two revenue-generating exams per hour within a 20-minute examination template, seeing up to 22 patients per day. The practice offers access to advanced diagnostic technology, including an OCT machine, Optos, visual field testing, and specialized glaucoma testing equipment, while a highly trained and knowledgeable staff supports you throughout the examination process. Additionally, you will be eligible for a 14.5% production bonus.

Who we're seeking:

Eye Trends is seeking a skilled full-time Optometrist to provide exceptional patient care and outstanding customer service during all patient interactions. The ideal candidate is both team-oriented and results-driven, and eager to contribute to the overall growth of the practice. This position requires working Monday through Friday, with alternating Saturdays. This position is open to both experienced professionals and new graduates.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
