Automation Technician I/II (2nd Shift -- 2:30-10:30pm M-F)

Description

As an Automation Technician, this position is responsible for sustaining the operation of a variety of equipment used on filling lines and manufacturing equipment by applying preventative maintenance and programming skills. Technicians will adjust positional control programs for Fanuc robots and use Allen Bradly ladder logic to troubleshoot issues to achieve optimal run times. This individual will work 2nd shift (Monday through Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm).

Job duties:



  • Answer Production calls for assistance on production lines.
  • Perform assigned preventive maintenance.
  • Adjust laser printers.
  • Assist Set-up techs with written instruction for checklists/set-up manuals.
  • Understand sensors: fiber optic/laser/inductive/product level.
  • Support new machine installs.
  • Use of hand tools.


Required qualifications:



  • Requires completion of a high school diploma, General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
  • Knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems
  • Basic AC/DC and 3 phase electrical understanding
  • Allen Bradley plc programming experience
  • Fanuc controls knowledge


Preferred qualifications:



  • Prefer related technical degree and/or 2 years of experience
