SummaryMaintains Quality Standards Accepting Incoming Purchased Parts and Materials for in process Production and Finished Products, Recording quality results. Job Description Perform In-Process and Final Inspection on Parts/Materials. Interpret and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to validate parts. Prepare First Article Inspection Reports. Use Standard Measuring Equipment (Micrometers, Calipers, Height gage etc.) Accept parts by procedure using dimensional, and visual inspections. CMM Programming Skills IDEAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, TRANNING AND CERTIFICATIONS Required Certifications and Training Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility. CMM (ZIESS) training courses desired. SOLID Works Experience preferred Experience Level with Business Tools Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and ETQ Job Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and adapt to new software programs Strong blueprint and drawing interpretation and competency skills Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Must be a Team Player Education and Experience High School Degree or equivalent 2-4 years of experience CMM Training desired Environment and Physical Demands Must be able to lift 40lbs.
