  • Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including other pulmonologists, ENT specialists, neurologists, cardiologists, and behavioral health professionals to provide comprehensive care for sleep-related issues and co-morbid conditions.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on the importance of sleep hygiene, the role of therapy devices (e.g., CPAP, BiPAP), and other interventions aimed at improving sleep quality and overall health.
  • Follow-Up Care: Provide ongoing follow-up care to patients with chronic sleep disorders, monitor therapy effectiveness, and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal results.

Teaching will include medical student teaching/precepting and/or mentoring house staff and fellows. For Medicine, this may include medical student teaching, mentoring house staff, and attending on the Internal Medicine resident teaching service. For Pulmonary, this may include attending on the Inpatient Consult service, supervising the fellows' outpatient clinic, and attending on the Inpatient Critical Care-related services at the Milstein Hospital and other NYP-affiliated hospitals.
